Hempel's Thinner 08450, transparent, 5 Ltr.

HEMPEL paints are manufactured and delivered in such a way that thinning is normally not necessary if the paint has been mixed or stirred well. However, if the paint is to be applied in particularly thin film thicknesses (e.g. when used as a "sealer coat"), or if the paint should have become "too thick" in cold weather, the HEMPEL thinners given in the product data sheets can be used to adjust the consistency suitable for application. As a general recommendation, thinning should be done as little as necessary as the quality of the coating work will suffer if thinners are used too liberally. HEMPEL'S thinners are formulated to give the best results in terms of spreadability, sprayability, etc. In some cases, ordinary solvents can be used as substitutes. However, as these products are beyond our control, we have to exclude any responsibility for the results as a precaution.
