The WP2135 limit switch is used as an extra, separate security surveillance of motor/rotor/generator revolutions, according to the safety chain certification rules. In the wind industry, the WP2135 e. g. sends a signal to the Control System, showing the rotor frequency. If the preset alarm frequency range has been exceeded the WP2135 gives a precise signal to the Control System to stop the rotor, preventing the wind turbine from breaking down. Features When the relay LED is ON, it shows that it works and that the relay is OK. If the LED is not lighting it means an error has occured. The pulse LED is ON every time the inductive sensor sends a new pulse. The alarm frequency is set by using numeric changeover switches, three for the frequency adjustment and one for the average. The frequency range of the WP2135 is from 0.1 to 99.9 Hz. The easy mounting of the WP2135 is achieved by using a 11 poled socket for mounting on a DIN-rail.
