Use 3M Microfinishing Film Sheet 262L for finishing applications and flat lapping. Our micron graded aluminium oxide film sheets feature micron graded mineral particles, electrostatically coated on a high strength polyester film backing. This fast cutting water resistant abrasive offers precise and consistent finishes.
Our sheets feature a dry lubricant to resist loading, on a 3 mil or 5 mil polyester film backing. Use them for the finishing process in industrial cylindrical parts and polishing engine components such as camshafts and crankshafts.
