SikaCor® EG-1 Plus is a 2-component, economical, micaceous iron oxide intermediate coating based on epoxy resin. Low solvent content according to the guideline of the German Paint Industry Association for corrosion protection coating materials (VdL-RL 04).

Application
SikaCor® EG-1 Plus is used as a mechanically resistant primer, intermediate and top coat for atmospherically exposed surfaces made of steel, hot-dip galvanised steel, stainless steel or aluminium. On thermal spray galvanising it can be used as a sealer to close pores and also as a subsequent intermediate coating. SikaCor® EG-1 Plus in combination with 2-K primer and top coats results in a mechanically resistant, water and chemical resistant coating system for long-lasting corrosion protection up to C5 very high according to DIN EN ISO 12944-2.
