Packaging unit: 1 The UPS control unit forms a complete DC UPS system together with the corresponding battery module and the power supply unit. In normal operation the input voltage is switched from the UPS control unit directly to the load. In the event of a power failure (drop in the DC input voltage), the system switches over to battery operation without delay. When the mains supply is restored, the system returns to normal operation and the battery is fully charged again by the integrated charger. Three relay outputs as well as three additional active transistor outputs and a control input to block battery operation offer complete remote control by a PLC or DCS controller. Numerous operating modes and a convenient operating display enable fast fault diagnosis and optimum adaptation to the application.
