SikaCor® EG-1 VHS NEU is a 2-component, micaceous iron oxide primer and intermediate coating based on epoxy resin.
Low solvent content according to the guideline of the Paint Industry Association for corrosion protection coating materials (VdL-RL04).

APPLICATION
SikaCor® EG-1 VHS NEU is intended for use by professional applicators only. Mechanically resistant primer and intermediate coating for atmospherically loaded surfaces of steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
In combination with 2-K top coats, results in a mechanically resistant, water and chemical resistant coating system for long-lasting corrosion protection up to corrosivity category C5 very high according to DIN EN ISO 12944-2.

PRODUCT FEATURES/ ADVANTAGES
Can be used directly on hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum
VOC content of < 250 g/l
Fast curing even at low temperatures
Very short recoating intervals
Wide range of coating thicknesses from 80 - 200 µm per pass

TEST CERTIFICATES
Approved and monitored according to RVS 15.05.11 and
RVS 08.09.02 System S14, S15, S17 and S21.
