Packaging unit: 1 The limit monitoring modules of the R-SERIES provide two relay contacts for the alarm function on the output side. Each variant is defined for a specific signal/sensor type. These include analog signals such as current, voltage, temperature (PT100 and thermocouple sensors), conductivity and frequency. The monitoring devices with temperature measurement inputs are equipped with open-circuit wire detection. By default, setpoints, insensitivity ranges, high-/low-trip switching characteristics, coil excitation and a variable time delay function can be configured individually for each channel. The XFAR (U/I input) offers additional extensions to The standard functions. The alarm function can optionally be configured here depending on various input parameters such as signal frequency deviation, signal loss or for individual signal types. For more complex applications, the XFAR is equipped with two alarm outputs that can be individually locked. The 4-digit LED display is universally adjustable. The respective scaling of the input parameters is automatically adopted. The configuration of the operating parameters is simplified by the user-friendly menu navigation. The specific parameters can be selected and set directly via the keyboard and display. The monitoring modules, which are completely separated with 2 KV, are integrated in a robust metal housing that can be mounted on a mounting rail.
