3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Pack 2123-2.2G is our soft, two-part polybutadiene resin encapsulant designed especially for re-enterable splice protection. It’s formulated with excellent wetting properties and low viscosity. The resin flows well at low temperatures, filling the enclosure and minimising voids. For easy mixing and pouring it’s available in two-part closed mixing pouch.

For most electrical applications requiring a soft, re-enterable resin with good handling and performance use 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Pack 2123-2.2G. Our resin pack is designed for replacing or repairing the jacket on single and multi-core power cables, sealing the crotch or sheath when terminating multi-core cables, sealing the crotch or sheath when terminating multi-core cables, filling back shell connectors and various potting applications. The flexible resin bonds to most cable jackets. It has excellent multi-purpose moisture sealing and cures at room temperature. Approximate cure time is 24 hours at 21 °C (70 °F). The resin pack comes in a two-part, closed mixing pouch in a 8.3 L bucket. 3M™ Scotchcast™ 2123 is tested in accordance with CENELEC HD 623.S1 (EN50393) standard, is compliant with the EU directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS) and EU directive 1907/2007/EC (REACH).
