3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Pack 40-C

For electrical insulation and mechanical protection of electrical cable joints installed for indoor and outdoor, underground and submerged applications, use 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Pack 40-C. Our resin is designed for room temperature curing. Once cured, it provides impact resistance and durability against moisture and atmospheric corrosion. It has good adhesion on metals and various plastics, hydrophobic behaviour during curing the stage, excellent hydrolytic stability, low exothermic reaction temperature, and is available with closed mixing and pouring (CMP) system. The shelf life is at least 36 months when stored between 10-40 °C, with a humidity level < 75 % and in the originally sealed bag. The resin comes in a two-part bag which has an integrated spout for fast and clean application. Bag size: 370 ml (420 g). Single box. 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Pack 40-C is classified as LIW (low-voltage insulation water curable) according to CENELEC HD 631.1 S2 Standard. It’s compliant with EU directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS) and EU regulation 1907/2007/EC (REACH).
