PLEXUS PC 120 PRIMER, Cleaner/Adhesion Promoter PC, 944ML

Plexus® Cleaner/Adhesion Promoter PC-120 is a chemical cleaner and adhesion promoter designed to improve the long-term durability of Plexus adhesives when bonding aluminum and stainless steel assemblies1. It dries quickly at room temperature so parts can be bonded 1 to 3 minutes after application of the adhesion promoter. Water and salt may attack bonded metal structures at the bonding site, resulting in a reduction in overall strength. Thanks to the active ingredients contained in the cleaner, the bond is protected from the effects of salt water over the long term.

Plexus PC-120 acts as a cleaner that removes contaminants from the metal surface. PC-120 can replace routine solvent cleaning in many cases.
It can be applied with a brush or cloth. Allow PC-120 to flash off briefly before wiping the surface. A thin coat of PC-120 is sufficient. The cleaner/adhesion promoter contains red dye. As long as a slight red tint is visible on the metal surface, the amount of bonding agent applied is sufficient. The parts can be bonded as soon as the adhesion promoter has dried. Plexus PC-120 is available in containers of 944ml. With 500ml, an area of approximately 23.23m²(250ft²) can be treated.
