Product information "SikaCor EG1 VHS NEU(AB)DB702ca, 30KG"

SikaCor® EG-1 VHS NEU is a 2-component, micaceous iron oxide primer and intermediate coating based on epoxy resin. Low solvent content according to the guideline of the Paint Industry Association for corrosion protection coating materials (VdL-RL04).

SikaCor® EG-1 VHS NEU is intended for use by professional applicators only. Mechanically resistant primer and intermediate coating for atmospherically loaded surfaces of steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum. In combination with 2-K top coats, results in a mechanically resistant, water and chemical resistant coating system for long-lasting corrosion protection up to corrosivity category C5 very high according to DIN EN ISO 12944-2.

PRODUCT FEATURES/ ADVANTAGES

  • Can be used directly on hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum
  • VOC content of < 250 g/l
  • Fast curing even at low temperatures
  • Very short recoating intervals
  • Wide range of coating thicknesses from 80 - 200 µm per pass
